Hamilton’ Hamilton Wally Cento 100 Hamilton

This 100 foot racing superyacht shows off its huge sweeping clean lines in a deck designed and built by Moody Decking.

Hallberg Rassy 38

We replaced the worn cockpit teak decking on a Hallberg-Rassy 38, using a vacuum system and epoxy to ensure a secure, watertight fit. The project was completed using Sika 290i DC caulking and Proset epoxy for long-lasting durability and style.

Classic TSMY Shemara

In 2011, the 65m classic yacht Shemara underwent a major refit at Porchester, with Moody Decking replacing all five decks using carefully sourced 75mm-wide, 18mm thick Myanmar teak. Covering 500 square meters, the whole refit project took two and a half years in total, with five months dedicated to decking design, manufacture, and installation—restoring the yacht to its former glory.

Fairey Spearfish

Moody replaced all exterior decking on this 1970’s Fairey Spearfish. The deck consisted of 9mm teak on 12mm ply which gave a very solid feel to this lovely boat.

Hallberg Rassy 29

In order to bring this lovely Hallberg-Rassy 29 a new lease of life, we removed the old screw-fixed teak decking, filled all holes with epoxy, and installed a new vacuum-bonded deck, all in just four days. All fittings were reinstalled with high-quality materials and new locker seals, leaving the customer thrilled with the final result, calling it “better than I could have ever imagined”.

Windy 32 Grand Tornado

After templating, we constructed and installed the deck of this Windy 32 Grand Tornado to ensure its longevity for many more years of cruising. We also fitted a brand new bathing platform to enhance the boat’s design and functionality.

Royal Barge Gloriana

Constructed for the Diamond Jubilee of the late Queen Elizabeth II, Royal Barge Gloriana was launched in April 2012, she was built in nineteen weeks by sixty craftsmen and young people from the Princes Trust. We were asked to liaise with the design team to produce the teak gratings and companion walkways. This was a unique project we are proud to have been a part of.
